Job summary

The Grain Facility Manager will lead daily operations of the grain storage facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance, while developing a high-performing team.

This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and hands-on oversight of grain receiving, storage technologies, and coordination with merchandising teams to optimize movement and storage. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Logistics, Business, or related field; or 5–7 years of grain operations experience in lieu of degree.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles.
• Knowledge of grain receiving, storage technologies, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, USDA, FDA).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and travel to remote facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the grain storage facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.
• Manage and develop facility personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Implement and maintain safety programs to promote a safe working environment for all staff.
• Coordinate with grain merchandising teams to ensure timely and cost-effective grain movement and storage.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost reductions, and capital investments to enhance productivity and quality.
