BioUrja Group’s West Plains LLC in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking an Elevator Technician to support grain handling, maintenance, and safety operations at our Council Bluffs facility. The role involves general labor tasks, backfilling, bulking, and assisting with routine maintenance.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in elevator/grain operations, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions. Grain industry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in elevator operations or grain handling.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret and follow written and oral instructions.
• Grain industry experience and equipment operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides general assistance to facility operations.
• Performs cleaning duties and surface washing.
• Follows safety rules and site safety plans.
• Operates routinely used tools and equipment and conducts preventive maintenance.
