Job summary

Bartlett in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Shift Manager to lead hourly team members in a high-volume grain handling facility. You will train staff, enforce safety rules, and ensure a clean, compliant workplace.

Responsibilities include loading, unloading, grading, blending, and supervising operations; manage schedules, monitor equipment, and communicate policies up to senior management. A high school diploma and experience in grain handling are required; overtime and weekend work may be

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year plus experience in grain handling facility or similar.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Ag Mechanics, Ag Business or similar preferred.
• English reading and verbal comprehension required.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Train, support and assist hourly team members while maintaining safety and sanitation.
• Oversee loading, unloading, sampling, grading, blending, drying, storage and fumigation of grain.
• Supervise personnel and operational activities to meet pre-set objectives.
• Communicate tasks, directives and policies with staff and management.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
