Job summary

Bartlett is hiring a Shift Manager in Council Bluffs, IA to lead hourly team members in a bulk corn handling operation. You will train, supervise and enforce safety standards across shifts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include overseeing loading/unloading, sampling, grading, storage, equipment maintenance and timely communication with management. Must be available for 2pm–midnight hours, overtime, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED must be completed.
• 1+ year experience in grain handling facility or similar.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Ag Mechanics/Ag Business preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written/verbal English instructions; available for overtime/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, support and assistance to hourly team members.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary workplace in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Oversee loading, unloading, sampling, grading, transferring, blending, drying and storage of grain.
• Assist management in achieving pre-set objectives and supervising personnel.
