Job summary

ADM is seeking a Superintendent for the Hooker, OK grain elevator to oversee daily operations, safety, and leadership of hourly staff. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, sampling, grading, storage, and ensuring GMP and FSMA compliance.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge and leadership with an emphasis on safety and cost efficiency. The position offers opportunities to train team members, improve maintenance schedules, and implement improvements to meet operational objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED with OJT.
• Technical Certification required.
• 2-3 years’ experience leading a team.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving experience.
• Good people skills and strong leadership.
• Experience with safety compliance and job hazard analysis.
• MS Office and email proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of all personnel following regulations and safety processes.
• Implement GMP, HACCP, FSMA; manage daily plant operations including safety, quality, production, and cost efficiency.
• Identify hazards and implement preventive actions to protect employees and product quality.
• Address employee concerns, maintain good communications and morale.
• Develop employees and train hourly labor to improve proficiency.
• Lead preventive maintenance planning and inspections to minimize downtime.
• Provide documentation and cost-saving ideas.
• Maintain records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead and analyze maintenance to improve efficiencies.
• Stay current with industry regulations and codes.
