Job summary

Central Prairie Co-op is seeking an Elevator Operator 3 to safely operate grain elevators at Frederick and nearby facilities. You will load/unload grain, monitor quality, keep records, and ensure safe, compliant operations for members and customers.

The role requires stamina, mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and the ability to assist with maintenance. A high school diploma or GED and a Class C driver’s license are required, with opportunities for additional training and advancement

Qualifications

• Basic computer operation skills
• Willing to pursue additional training or education

Responsibilities

• Dumps grain and loads railcars or trucks; maintains safe operations
• Inspects grain for moisture, insects, and foreign material during unloading
• Keeps facilities clean and complies with safety regulations and inspections
