Job summary

Central Prairie Co-op is seeking an Elevator Operator for the Grain division to handle receiving, storing, and shipping of grain, feed production, and related inventory control. The role requires performing routine maintenance, operating conveyors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while delivering high levels of member service at the cooperative's grain elevators.

You will work with location managers, assist customers, and maintain accurate records, temperature and moisture

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; basic computer skills.
• CDL Class B with Tanker and Airbrakes endorsements or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedures, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Dump grain and load railcars or trucks and clean spills.
• Maintain storage inventory and temperature/moisture checks.
• Inspect grain for insects, moisture and foreign material.
• Operate conveyors and storage tanks to move grain as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote cooperative facilities.
