Job summary

Total Grain Marketing, LLC is seeking a general labor worker to support grain handling and delivery operations at our Illinois facility. You will operate conveyors, load grain, inspect quality, and ensure proper storage while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include communicating with customers, assisting with shipments, and performing routine equipment maintenance; willingness to work extended hours and in varied weather is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma, GED or related experience equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
• Ability to work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate grain handling equipment, such as conveyors, augers, and elevators, to move grains throughout the facility.
• Load, unload, and transport grain from trucks, trailers and trains.
• Ensure proper storage of grains in elevators, silos, or bins to maintain quality and prevent spoilage.
• Inspect grain for quality and remove foreign objects.
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
• Assist with loading grains for shipment to customers or processing plants.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure safe handling of grains and operation of equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of grain-handling equipment and work areas.
• Attend required meetings and training programs.
• Maintain inventory of parts for repairs and maintenance.
