Job summary

Scoular is seeking motivated grain elevator operators to join our team and contribute to our mission of safe and reliable grain handling. You will load and unload grain, assist with weighing and grading, and operate a range of heavy equipment across storage facilities.

You will maintain grain piles, keep bins clean, and uphold strict safety standards while working outdoors in all weather conditions. Flexibility for overtime and physical work is expected.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Flexible to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and high winds.
• Must be comfortable with climbing ladders, heights, and confined spaces.
• Able to work in environments with grain dust and airborne particles.
• Wear PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses, and safety footwear.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Experience in a grain facility preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload grain while assisting with weighing and grading of grain trucks.
• Operate heavy equipment (loaders, skid steer loaders, track mobiles, rail car movers, etc.).
• Manage grain storage by creating and moving grain piles and performing bin/storage housekeeping.
• Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards.
• Perform general maintenance tasks to support operations.
