Bartlett Co. in Hamburg, IA is seeking a hands-on Grain Elevator Operator to support receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain. You will monitor grain conditions, maintain facilities and equipment, and stay safety-focused in daily operations.
The role includes overtime, with weekends possible during peak harvest, and offers comprehensive benefits. Strong English literacy and a safety-conscious attitude are required, along with the ability to pass a background check.
Location: Hamburg, IA
Compensation: $22/hr and up
Days/Hours: This job will be 1st shift. Usual hours are 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday, with some OT, including weekends. During fall harvest we are open 7 days per week for 12+ hours per day and you can expect to work 6 or 7 days per week during that time.
Equipment Used: Various grain handling equipment, mainly conveyors and legs
Material Handled: Bulk commodities: corn, soybeans, etc

What you’ll be doing:
The duties of this hands-on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks.
