Job summary

FS is seeking an Elevator Superintendent in Lincoln, IL to supervise daily grain elevator operations, coordinate staff, oversee loading/unloading, and ensure grain quality and equipment performance. You will lead maintenance, housekeeping, and safety initiatives to support reliable, compliant plant operations.

You will train Elevator Operations staff and seasonal workers, communicate plans with the Operations Manager, and maintain a professional, safe site with timely reporting and continuous

Qualifications

• Experience supervising grain elevator operations.
• Ability to climb ladders daily to heights up to 25 ft.
• Strong communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day activities of grain elevator(s) and staff.
• Manage inbound/outbound grain loading/unloading and quality/conditioning.
• Operate conveyors and monitor gauges to maintain target loads and flow.
• Train and supervise Elevator Operations staff and seasonal employees.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized facility and grounds.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with Operations Manager and maintenance crew.
