Job summary

Scoular Co. seeks a Millwright to support maintenance, repairs and installations across our grain elevator asset network. You will lead crews, coordinate projects, and ensure safe, compliant operation of equipment and foundations.

The role emphasizes hands-on welding, rigging and proactive maintenance within a fast-paced environment. You will travel up to 70% to meet business needs, lift heavy components, and collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime while maintaining safety and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant field.
• Demonstrated understanding and proven experience welding, torching and rigging.
• Lifting and rigging experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Scoular asset teams to plan and complete in-house projects and repairs.
• Responsible for providing leadership and direction to Construction and Laborer crews regarding non-routine task completion.
• Partner with facility management to coordinate crew member support and scheduling to assist with project completion, as well as inventory support in ordering needed parts.
• Inspect and monitor grain asset equipment. Examples: legs, drag, conveyor belts, skid steers, wheel loaders.
• Coach and train facility team members on preventative maintenance best practices.
• Work closely with Operations Project Team to support asset locations to address maintenance needs proactively to minimize breakdowns.
