Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a laborer to support daily barge operations and ensure grain moves safely and efficiently. This hands‑on role loads and unloads barges and trucks, and may include cleaning and repair tasks as needed.

The position requires attention to safety, the ability to follow complex instructions, and willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends at various locations. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred 1 year in an industrial environment.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Safety Program and attend pre-shift meetings.
• Perform barge loading and deckhand duties as assigned.
• Transfer, load, and move grain to required locations.
• Maintain grain quality during storage and transfer.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance.
