Job summary

Central Valley Ag is seeking an Operations employee in Fullerton, NE to assist with unloading, shipping, and handling of grain and agronomy products. The role includes preventative maintenance, cleaning, and ensuring safety throughout daily tasks.

You will support in receiving, mixing, and loading fertilizers and chemicals, operate equipment, and drive company trucks as needed. A strong emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and customer service is required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma.
• Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
• Preferred to have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements.
• Preferred to have or be able to obtain a Commercial Applicator’s License.
• Knowledge of DOT or DOT experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner and establish effective working relationships with internal operations and external customers.
• Great basic mechanical skills.
• Works in a way that demonstrates safety is a priority.

Responsibilities

• Assist in unloading grain for company-owned and customer-owned trucks.
• Assist in delivering agronomy products (fertilizer, chemical, seed) to customers.
• Assist in loading agronomy products to customer trucks.
• Assist in receiving dry/liquid fertilizer, chemicals and seed.
• Assist in stocking and operating liquid and dry plants.
• Assist in mixing and loading liquids and dry fertilizers and chemicals.
• Help ensure accurate mixing of chemicals and fertilizers and assist blender operations.
• Drive company-owned trucks for transferring grain and agronomy products.
• Drive tender trucks to supply custom application equipment.
• Back-up for custom applicators if certified.
• Assist with train loads.
• Monitor and maintain grain quality.
• Manage grain and agronomy inventory; monitor inventory levels.
• Assist with scale operations and related paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain housekeeping.
