Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Environmental Engineering, or Process Engineering.
• Coursework in Transportation planning, transportation engineering, urban planning, GIS, traffic engineering, civil engineering, infrastructure design.
• Ability to use PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Synchro, Highway Capacity Software/HCS, Vissim, Aimsun, TransCAD, Python, R, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Traffic engineering analysis (ex. Highway Capacity Analysis or Synchro).
• Traffic and/or pedestrian simulation modeling (ex. Vissim, Aimsun).
• Conceptual or preliminary design of transportation facilities.
• Transit and multimodal planning analysis (data analysis, ridership or operations analyses).
• Written reports, oral presentations, proposals.
