Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Environmental Engineering, or Process Engineering
• Coursework in Transportation planning, transportation engineering, urban planning, geographic information systems, traffic engineering, civil engineering, infrastructure design
• Ability to use PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Synchro, Highway Capacity Software/HCS, Vissim, Aimsun, TransCAD, Python, R, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
• Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Traffic engineering analysis (ex. Highway Capacity Analysis or Synchro)
• Traffic and/or pedestrian simulation modeling (ex. Vissim, Aimsun)
• Conceptual or preliminary design of transportation facilities
• Transit and multimodal planning analysis (ie. data analysis, ridership or operations analyses)
• Written reports, oral presentations, proposals
