Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking new graduates to join our Transportation team in Tyler, TX as Graduate Engineer I, Transportation.

You will contribute to roadway and highway design under the guidance of a Professional Engineer, developing schematic designs and performing calculations for project delivery. Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree (ABET‑accredited) and can obtain an EIT certificate within one year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering or ABET equivalent.
• Ability to obtain EIT within 1 year.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• 0–3 years of Transportation design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under supervision.
• Perform schematic design and calculations for projects.
• Assist in permit applications and regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with surveyors and contractors; attend client/regulatory meetings.
