Job summary

Legrand AV, Inc. seeks a graduate student intern to support the Talent, Engagement, and Inclusion team in West Hartford, CT.

You will work across talent attraction, employee engagement action planning, and leadership development program support, delivering practical tools and project outcomes. You will collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and leadership to drive improvements to candidate experience and engagement while learning via mentorship and hands-on deliverables.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program (MBA, MHRM, MSOD, or related field preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to varied audiences.
• Analytical mindset; able to interpret data and identify trends.
• Resourceful, self-directed, and able to navigate ambiguity with stakeholders.
• Experience with HR, talent acquisition, learning and development, or program coordination preferred.
• Experience with survey tools, data reporting, or HRIS platforms.
• Strong presentation skills (content creation and delivery).

Responsibilities

• Support Talent Attraction and Candidate Experience initiatives; update careers site and LinkedIn page.
• Create structured interview guides by job family and level; maintain project docs and timelines.
• Assist Employee Engagement action plans and monitor progress with stakeholders.
• Support Leadership Development program activities; organize timelines and materials.
• Manage schedules across multiple managers and stakeholders; communicate priorities.
