Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks an entry-level Substation Graduate Engineer‑P&C to join its electrical engineering team. The role focuses on protection and control design for utility-scale substations and related projects.

You will prepare reports and drawings, review submittals, and support field activities during construction, collaborating with experienced engineers and project managers to deliver quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Familiar with IEEE, ANSI, and NESC codes and standards.
• MS Office proficiency required (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and sound engineering judgment.

Responsibilities

• Design protection and control for utility-scale substations (power delivery, solar, wind).
• Prepare reports, specifications, and drawing packages.
• Review project submittals, RFIs, and support field activities during construction.
• Provide professional and technical support to multiple Westwood projects.
• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day planning and coordination.
