Qualifications

• Earned Ph.D. in engineering, computer science, or a closely related field.
• Experience as a tenured faculty member with 5+ years in graduate teaching/mentoring.
• Experience in a College of Engineering or similar research-intensive unit (R1).
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with collaboration across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for development, assessment, and improvement of graduate programs (MS/PhD) across engineering and CS.
• Oversee recruitment, retention, and professional development for graduate students and postdocs.
• Lead initiatives for graduate program development, interdisciplinary initiatives, and alignment with industry and societal needs.
• Oversee graduate admissions processes and increase financial support through fellowships and scholarships.
• Represent the college on university committees and collaborate with external partners to advance graduate education and research.
