The University of Alabama at Birmingham invites applications for the position of Associate Dean for Student Success and Evaluation in the School of Nursing. This senior leadership role oversees the Offices of Student Success and Evaluation, guiding strategic planning, budget development, and data-driven decision making to advance graduation rates and student outcomes.

Qualifications

A doctorate in nursing, higher education, administration, or related fields.
A minimum of five years experience in higher education leadership and administrative experience.
Demonstrated success in administrative/leadership position in higher education.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all constituents and within leadership teams.
Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Lead operations for the Offices of Student Success and Evaluation and set annual goals.
Develop strategic priorities, budgets, and performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with FERPA and university policies across offices.
Collaborate with SON mission leaders, deans, chairs, and directors to advance outcomes.
Generate data reports and support accreditation and program evaluation needs.
