The University of Texas Permian Basin invites applications for the role of Assistant Director of Graduate Student Outreach and Success within the Department of Graduate Studies. The position leads outreach, onboarding, and retention efforts to support graduate degree completion and enrollment growth across campus.

Collaboration spans Enrollment Management, Academic Affairs, Financial Aid, and Registrar’s Office.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of professional experience in higher education, graduate studies, student success, retention, advising, enrollment management, case management, or a related field.
• Experience using a customer relationship management system, student information system, student-success platform, early-alert system, or comparable technology to monitor progress and document interventions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead graduate student onboarding, orientation, transition, and engagement initiatives and establish consistent standards for delivery and follow-up.
• Provide guidance on University policies, procedures, academic requirements, enrollment and registration processes, key deadlines, and available services within assigned authority.
• Coordinate complex referrals and resolutions with academic departments, faculty, advising, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, the Registrar’s Office, Student Success, and other support units.
• Develop and implement retention and engagement campaigns focused on enrollment persistence, academic progression, stop-out reengagement, withdrawal prevention, and degree completion.
