Job summary

Arup in Los Angeles is offering a graduate opportunity in Structural Engineering where you will design structural systems, conduct analyses, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on sustainable built-environment projects.

You will deliver drawings, calculations, and reports while learning software tools and gaining hands-on experience on high-profile assignments. A Master's degree in a related field and FE/EIT eligibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.
• Coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design and advanced reinforced concrete design.
• Skills in planning and organizing.
• Ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design structural systems and perform structural analysis.
• Work with project teams to develop sustainable solutions to built environment challenges.
• Deliver structural engineering drawings, calculations, reports, sketches and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties; learn and implement software and technology skills.
