Job summary

DV Trading, DV Commodities, in New York, is seeking a 2027 Graduate Software Engineer to join the trading technology team. You will build and refine trading tools, collaborating with developers, traders, and researchers to shape key applications and workflows.

You will own from design to deployment, applying AI to speed Development while managing edge cases, latency considerations, and production support. This role requires onsite work in New York.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/CE expected by Summer 2027.
• Experience programming in C++ and/or Python in Linux environments.
• Experience accelerating development with AI tools.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work onsite at our New York office five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve proprietary trading tools for DV Commodities desks.
• Collaborate with developers, traders, and researchers to define technical needs.
• Deliver platform functionality through iterative development with stakeholders.
• Architect greenfield solutions while safely enhancing existing codebases.
• Apply AI to accelerate development while owning the entire lifecycle of the code.
