Job summary

DV Commodities in New York is seeking a Software Development Intern to join our development and trading teams to build low latency applications and trading tools with direct impact on DV. You’ll own self-contained projects within our production codebase and learn how our technology stack enables trading desks.

Requirements include pursuing a CS/CE related degree with expected graduation Winter 2027–Summer 2028, proficiency in C++ and/or Python, and the ability to work onsite five days a week.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with expected graduation Winter 2027–Summer 2028.
• Proficient in C++ and/or Python.
• Ability to read and navigate an existing codebase and deliver a contained project.
• Effective use of AI coding tools and ability to review generated code for correctness.
• Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in small groups within development teams to build low latency applications and trading tools.
• Deliver well-scoped, self-contained projects within our production codebase.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development while owning the code shipped.
