Job summary

Campbellsville University is seeking a Softball Graduate Assistant to support the Coaching Staff with daily operations of the softball program, from practices to game day and recruitment. This role offers hands-on experience in coaching, player development, and academic support for student-athletes.

The GA will work closely with coaches to plan practices, provide instruction in hitting and defense, scout opponents, and mentor players, while modeling professionalism and commitment to program

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and conducting daily practices, workouts and conditioning.
• Provide instruction in hitting, defense, baserunning and overall game strategy.
• Assist with scouting opponents and preparing game plans.
• Assist with recruiting prospective student-athletes via phone calls, emails, campus visits, tournaments and camps.
• Assist with game day responsibilities.
• Serve as a positive, professional role model for student-athletes.
