Job summary

VINCI is seeking a Graduate Site Engineer to support delivery of construction and infrastructure projects. You will assist with site engineering activities, ensuring work aligns with project specifications and safety standards.

You will help set out and survey, respond to technical queries, monitor progress, and maintain records. The role requires travel to sites and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset to support quality and safe delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong technical grounding in civil/structural engineering and construction methods.
• Able to interpret drawings and specifications with accuracy.
• Willingness to travel and work on site on a regular basis.

Job Title: Graduate Site Engineer

Role purpose

The Graduate Site Engineer will support the delivery of construction and infrastructure projects by assisting with site engineering activities, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications.

Responsibilities & Duties

Including but not limited to the following:

• Assist with setting out and surveying activities.

• Support project teams with technical and engineering queries.

• Monitor site progress against programme requirements.

• Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

• Conduct site inspections and maintain engineering records.

• Assist with preparing method statements and risk assessments.

• Support quality assurance and quality control processes.

• Liaise with subcontractors and site operatives.

• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained.

• Produce reports and as-built documentation.
