Job summary

Avangrid's 2-Year Local Rotational Program offers recent graduates exposure across the organization through three rotational assignments over about two years. Rotations occur every 6–9 months, contributing to projects that support safe and reliable energy services.

The program includes mentorship, networking, professional development, and cross-functional collaboration. Positions may be located in CT, NY, ME, or other Avangrid locations with relocation support for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, Environmental, Computer or related engineering discipline.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotational assignments across engineering, operations, planning, infrastructure, and project teams.
• Apply engineering principles to support system reliability and infrastructure investments.
• Support planning, design, construction, maintenance, or asset management activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to address operational and project requirements.
• Analyze technical information to support engineering and business decisions.
• Contribute to safety, regulatory, environmental, and compliance objectives.
• Assist with capital project execution and operational improvement initiatives.
• Engage in technical training, leadership development, and mentoring opportunities.
• Participate in cohort networking and peer learning activities.
• Build knowledge of utility operations through exposure to multiple business functions.
