Turner & Townsend is seeking a Graduate Project Controls Analyst to join our Houston, TX team. This two-year program develops early-career professionals through exposure to schedule management, cost control, and analytics on major capital projects in the U.S.

You will support preconstruction activities, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while learning industry best practices and turning data into actionable insights under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide preconstruction support during project approval phase and assist in development of annual contractor purchase orders.
• Manage internal project budget and schedule of values within project management software for monthly financial reporting on multiple projects.
• Oversee external project budgets and communications within external project management software including commitment management, change management, document control, etc.
• Manage monthly forecasts and cash flows, understand forecast variances, and develop monthly executive reports.
• Review monthly vendor invoice process, including project management review and communication with accounts payable.
• Ensure accurate accrual reporting for all existing PO's and coordinate with vendors and finance.
• Facilitate change order routing and review processes within PM software with executive approval as required.
• Review project financial health with management team each month via dashboards and reports.
• Maintain internal and contractor risk registers and conduct contingency evaluation.
• Close out internal budgets and vendor POs in final accounting.
• Coordinate with the site scheduler to align forecasts with schedule updates.
• Adhere to SOX controls where applicable.
