Graduate Project Controls Analyst: Budget & Schedule

Turner & Townsend in Raleigh, NC is seeking a motivated Graduate Project Controls Analyst to join our two-year Development Program. You will gain exposure to schedule management, cost control, and analytics while supporting major programs and capital projects.

The role targets recent graduates with up to two years of industry experience and offers hands-on learning across preconstruction, budgeting, forecasting, and executive reporting within a supportive, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of industry experience.
• Bachelor's and/or master's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide preconstruction support during project approval phase and assist in development of annual contractor purchase orders.
• Manage internal project budget / schedule of values within project management software for monthly financial reporting on multiple projects.
• Handle external project budget and communications within external project management software including commitment management, change management and document control.
• Produce monthly forecasts and cash flows, analyze forecast variances, and create monthly executive reports.
• Review monthly vendor invoices, manage project reviews, coordinate with accounts payable and third-party auditing services.
• Ensure accurate accrual reporting for all existing POs, coordinating with vendors and finance.
• Facilitate change order routing and review processes within project management software, with executive approvals as required.
• Review project financial health with management via dashboards and reports.
• Maintain internal and contractor risk registers and perform contingency evaluations.
• Support financial closeout of internal budgets and vendor POs.
• Coordinate with site scheduler to align financial forecasts with schedule updates.
• SOX control responsibilities may apply where relevant.

Bachelor's and/or master's degree in Construction Management / Construction Science / Project Management / General Business
