Job summary

Mines is seeking a Graduate Program Specialist to support graduate student recruitment, enrollment, and academic success. You will advise Master’s and PhD students on degree requirements, policies, and deadlines, and guide them through thesis/dissertation processes and graduation requirements.

You will manage admissions for certificate and Master’s Non‑Thesis programs, participate in outreach, and collaborate with multiple campus offices to optimize recruitment, admissions, and student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of recruiting and/or advising experience
• Preferred Master’s degree with 3+ years in higher education or student services
• Experience with graduate admissions processes and advising for certificates/ Masters Non‑Thesis

Responsibilities

• Advise graduate students on coursework, policies, deadlines, and degree requirements.
• Read and decide on certificate and Master’s Non‑Thesis applications and support admissions committees.
• Lead recruitment campaigns, events, information sessions, and campus visits to grow applicant pipelines.
• Collect and analyze enrollment data, report on progress, and propose process improvements.
