Job summary

Prairie View A&M University’s School of Public and Allied Health seeks a Program Coordinator II to provide advanced administrative support for graduate programs. Reporting to the Program Director, the role coordinates day-to-day activities, student services, admissions, recruitment, compliance, data management, and event coordination.

The position acts as primary contact for prospective and current students, collaborates with faculty and university offices to support enrollment growth,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Four years of related experience.
• Knowledge of MS Office, databases.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Experience with graduate programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations and admin activities for graduate programs.
• Serve as primary contact for graduate student inquiries on admissions, enrollment, and degree requirements.
• Assist with graduate admissions processing, tracking, onboarding, and orientation.
• Maintain graduate program files, records, and documentation; ensure compliance.
• Prepare reports for program leadership and support accreditation activities.
• Support recruitment events, outreach, and marketing materials.
• Monitor budgets, purchasing, travel, and reimbursements.
