Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of engineering principles.
• Able to work for 20 hours during school semesters and 40 hours during summer semesters.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Ability to complete forklift and gantry crane training.
• Excellent spatial reasoning skills and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic systems equipped with pellet extruder/milling/AFP/FFP/LMD head attachments.
• Operate NC programs for manufacturing operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems.
• Program for additive and subtractive manufacturing processes.
• Clean and maintain the cell and the surrounding areas routinely.
• Assist program managers with projects moving through SCRAM cell processing.
• Organize and catalog tools, spare parts, and implements.
• Ensure proper PPE use and follow basic safety procedures to minimize accidents and harm to others within the work cell.
