Job summary

Emerson’s North America Engineering Solutions is seeking an Entry Process Automation Systems Engineer (new graduate) based in our Blue Bell, PA, Durham, NC, Houston, TX, or St. Louis, MO offices to develop and implement DeltaV automation projects.

You will work with experienced process and automation engineers, help with field surveys, installations, and startups, and gain hands-on experience across diverse industries such as refining, chemical, and power.

Qualifications

• Upcoming graduate with a BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Willing to travel to end user locations 25-50%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Comfortable on plant sites, able to navigate stairs, ladders, scaffolding and catwalks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation projects using DeltaV DCS.
• Create/update project deliverables: network diagrams, instrumentation databases, control system cabinet drawings, and software configurations for DCS/SIS/PLC.
• Travel to customer sites for field surveys, installations, checkouts, and startups.
