Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking the Summer 2027 Population Health Analytics Graduate Internship to immerse you in healthcare data, analytics, and strategy. You will work with large datasets, including claims and EMR information, to generate insights that support Living Health initiatives and value-based care decisions.

The internship offers hands-on training, collaboration with analytics and clinical teams, and exposure to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Graduate degree pursued full or part-time in an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders on assignments.
• Under supervision, provide services aligned with daily objectives.
• Undertake projects to develop professional skills.
• Participate in planning and implementing unit projects and initiatives.
• Conduct research and reporting with recommendations as requested.
• Undertake related studies or enrichment programs for the unit.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree

Pursuing a Master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Epidemiology or related field
