Job summary

Highmark Health is offering a Summer 2027 Population Health Analytics Graduate Internship. The program provides hands-on experience with large healthcare datasets, including claims and EMR data, to support Highmark's Living Health strategy.

Interns will collaborate with analytics teams and stakeholders on analytics projects, develop communication skills, and gain exposure to executive leadership in a healthcare context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in a relevant field.
• Pursuing a graduate degree in Analytics, Data Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Statistics, Economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day analytics activities and reporting for population health analytics.
• Analyze healthcare and population health data to develop insights and recommendations.
• Contribute to strategic projects and initiatives across teams.
• Collaborate with analytics professionals, clinical stakeholders, and business leaders.
• Translate data findings into actionable business recommendations.
