Job summary

Highmark Health invites applications for the Summer 2027 Population Health Analytics Graduate Internship. This internship gives graduate students hands-on experience at the intersection of healthcare, data analytics, and population health strategy.

You will work with large-scale datasets to generate actionable insights supporting Living Health initiatives. Under supervision you will engage in data exploration, trend analysis, performance measurement, predictive insights, and strategic research,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Pursuit of a graduate degree full or part-time in an accredited college or university is required.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Epidemiology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day analytics activities.
• Conduct research and reporting on healthcare and population health data.
• Analyze data to develop insights and recommendations.
• Participate in strategic projects and initiatives across teams.
• Assist in planning and implementing unit projects and initiatives.
• Conduct related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
