Job summary
Arup is seeking a Graduate Plumbing / Public Health Engineer to join our Seattle team. You will design plumbing and lab/medical gas services for complex facilities, focusing on sustainable design and integrated solutions with clients, architects, and engineers.
You will perform engineering calculations and modelling, and present technical concepts to diverse audiences through presentations and workshops. An EIT/FE credential and a degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering are required or
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering is required.
- EIT/ FE certification is preferred or required for early career engineers.
- Membership in ASPE, ASHRAE, or NFPA is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design Plumbing and lab/medical gas services for built environments with emphasis on sustainable design.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants to develop integrated solutions for complex buildings.
- Perform engineering calculations and modelling to support project design and delivery.
- Communicate technical ideas to diverse audiences using presentations and workshops.
