Job summary

Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking a Senior Plumbing Engineer/Designer to lead plumbing and process piping efforts from schematic design through construction administration. The role includes design leadership, client consulting on system options, and coordinating with multiple disciplines on healthcare, commercial, multifa mily, and educational projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in consulting, construction, or similar.
• Valid PE license or CPD certification.
• Proficient in Revit (BIM).
• Strong plumbing design experience across sectors.
• Clear communicator, organized, solution-oriented, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing piping designs and prepare construction documents.
• Perform plumbing calculations: fixture counts, pumps, hot water loads, etc.
• Coordinate with ownership, mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural teams.
• Support Construction Administration: RFIs, submittal reviews, site visits, field reports.
• Adhere to QA/QC policies and escalate issues as needed.
• Mentor junior engineers/designers and grow the local plumbing team.
• Assist with Business Development opportunities when needed.
