Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Plumbing Engineer in New Jersey to design plumbing and fire protection systems for built environments. You will support domestic water, sanitary, vent and storm systems, and collaborate with clients, architects and engineers to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions.

The role includes documenting analyses, using Revit MEP, and presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences. A bachelor’s in engineering and internship exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, architectural, civil, or environmental engineering.
• Coursework in fluid hydraulics/piping/fluid dynamics.
• Interest in built environment and sustainable development; ability to collaborate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Design Plumbing and Fire Protection systems with emphasis on sustainable design.
• Support domestic water, sanitary/vent, and storm system design.
• Support fire protection systems design incl. sprinkler and standpipe.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and consultants on integrated solutions.
• Document engineering analysis, code research, load calculations and equipment sizing clearly.
