Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy practice within our Retail locations. You will work under a preceptor and district leader to complete a 120‑day training roadmap, learning store, district, and regional operations while emphasizing patient safety and quality assurance.

As you progress, you will support pharmacists and technicians in prescription fulfillment, immunizations, counseling, and drug utilization review, while upholding

Qualifications

PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program.
Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.

Responsibilities

Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
Complete required training within designated timeframe.
Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
Support immunizations and point-of-care testing as allowed by law.
Maintain inventory and assist with pharmacy workflow procedures.
Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed by the business.

Education
