Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist preceptor. You will complete a comprehensive 120‑day training roadmap across store, district, and regional operations to deepen knowledge of patient safety, DUR, and professional standards in preparation for a Pharmacist role.

As tenure increases, you will support pharmacy operations, assist patients, and learn to deliver safe, accurate prescriptions while upholding SOPs,

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within state guidelines within 120 days of graduation
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
• Ability to pivot quickly from one task to another to meet patient and business needs
• Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: actively help people in a friendly manner
• Notice and understand patients’ reactions, and respond appropriately
• Communication Skills: verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: use math to determine dispensed quantities
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical Demands: mobility and lifting requirements
• Express or exchange ideas clearly via speech
• Receive detailed information through oral communication
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
