Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice within our pharmacy teams across stores. You will work under a preceptor and district leader to complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap that deepens your understanding of store, district, and regional operations while supporting safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Must be able to obtain required pharmacist licensure within state guidelines; failure to do so within 120 days may affect employment.
• Must possess or be pursuing valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Attend to pharmacy operations with regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within the designated timeframe.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly and accurately while delivering caring service.
• Counsel patients when appropriate under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assist with immunizations and other patient health services as allowed by law and training.
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with SOPs, policies and regulations.

Education

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program

Licensure within required timeframe (120 days)
