Job summary
CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply your PharmD education in real-world pharmacy operations. Under the supervision of a preceptor, you will complete a 120-day training roadmap across store, district, and regional operations to strengthen patient safety, DUR, and SOP adherence.
You will support pharmacy teams to fill prescriptions promptly and accurately, assist with immunizations and counseling, and grow toward greater responsibility in a fast paced CVS
Qualifications
- PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to starting the Post-Graduate Training Program.
- Must be able to obtain pharmacist licensure within state guidelines; timeline 120 days.
- Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern/technician licensure as required.
Responsibilities
- Support pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
- Follow SOPs at each workstation and assist in patient counseling and service delivery.
- Assist with immunizations, clinical services, and customer interactions where allowed.
- Learn and apply regulatory requirements, patient privacy, and safety standards.
