Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in CVS locations. You will apply your didactic knowledge from pharmacy school to real-world practice under supervision, completing a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation.

You will assist with dispensing, patient counseling, and immunizations where permitted, while learning to uphold patient safety, SOPs, and professional standards in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and safely
• Assist with patient counseling and immunization services where allowed by state regulations
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient privacy and security during all interactions
