Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Alabama is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world pharmacy operations. Under supervision, you will support prescription processing, patient counseling, and adherence to SOPs, while preparing for pharmacist licensure.

You will gain hands-on experience across store workflow, immunizations where allowed, and collaboration with pharmacists, technicians, and store leadership, with a 120-day training roadmap and emphasis on patient safety.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and timely service.
• Assist with immunizations and other patient health services where allowed by law and policy, under supervision.
• Follow SOPs and demonstrate empathy and professional communication with patients and colleagues.
