Job summary

CVS Health's Graduate Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on experience in busy retail pharmacies, under the guidance of a pharmacist preceptor. You’ll apply didactic learning to real-world practice and complete a 120‑day training roadmap focused on patient safety, drug utilization review, and SOPs.

You will support daily pharmacy operations, assist with immunizations where allowed, and learn to deliver compassionate service while upholding chain-wide standards.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post‑Graduate Training Program.
• Must obtain pharmacist licensure within state guidelines (120 days; separation if not obtained).
• Have valid intern and/or technician licensure or be in the process.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy operations, ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Learn SOPs and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Provide immunization support and vaccine education where allowed.
