Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program at our retail locations in the United States. You will work under a preceptor and gain real-world pharmacy practice experience, focusing on patient safety, DUR reviews, and SOP-compliant operations.

You will learn to support the pharmacy team, assist with immunisations, and pursue licensure with mentorship from district leaders, preparing for a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within state guidelines.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Preferred immunisation certification when state regulations are met.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Suite).

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure patient prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Assist with patient counseling and immunisation services where allowed by law.
• Follow SOPs and participate in training to prepare for Pharmacist role.
• Provide high quality customer service and maintain patient privacy and safety.
