Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy practice while preparing for a Pharmacist role. Under supervision of a licensed preceptor and District Leader, you will complete a comprehensive 120‑day training roadmap to deepen your knowledge of store, district, and regional operations.

During the program you will support the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately, while learning SOPs,

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
• Ability to pivot quickly from one task to another
• Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: Actively look for ways to help people, in a friendly manner
• Notice and understand patients’ reactions, and respond appropriately
• Communication Skills: Use and understand verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: Use math to solve problems related to prescriptions
• Problem Resolution: Identify challenging patient or colleague interactions and choose best action
• Physical Demands: Be mobile and lift up to 20 lbs
• Express or exchange ideas by spoken word with detailed instructions
• Receive detailed information through oral communication
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
