Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy settings. You will follow a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap under a preceptor and district leader, learning store, district, and regional operations while focusing on patient safety and high-quality service.

In this role you will support the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly and accurately, while expanding your clinical and technical knowledge in a supportive,

Qualifications

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
Ability to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe.
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
Complete required training within designated timeframe.
Support pharmacy operations with accuracy and empathy to ensure safe prescriptions.
Counsel patients and respond to questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law.
Maintain SOP adherence and high standards of patient privacy and safety.

Education

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program

Ability to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within timeframe

Current intern/technician licensure as required
